National Night Out
HOPE- National Night Out was Tuesday, August 1. The Hope Police Department and the community came together to put on the event to bring their families out to enjoy an evening while getting to see police programs. The Hope Police Department has been hosting the event for the past six years and were joined by the Hempstead County Sherriffs Department, The Hope Fire Department, Pafford EMS, Arkansas State Police, the Hempstead County Health Unit and the Arkansas Game and Fish brought their fish tank for kids to see a variety of fish.
Cotton candy and popcorn were offered for the community to enjoy while enjoying activities that were set up and viewing the cars that were for show. Face paintings, bubbles, blowup bowling and basketball, dunk tank, and archery shooting were available for the kids to enjoy.
