Mrs. Shirley Kirby

HOPE – On Friday, July 28, 2017, God saw fit to call one of His remarkable angels, Shirley Diane Kirby, to her heavenly home at the age of 59.

Shirley was born December 18, 1957 in Fulton, Arkansas to Herman and Margaret Brown. She graduated from Hope High School in Hope, Arkansas in 1975.

Shirley was a hard-working woman. She worked at Husqvarna for 2 years, Flying J for 8 years, Champion Parts for 17 years and Firestone for 15 years, where she later retired.

She married her husband, Larne Kirby “Wes” on June 4, 2009. She and her husband were member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Texarkana, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Herman Brown; one brother, Claude Brown.

She leaves her most precious memories to her husband, Larne Kirby “Wes” of Hope, Arkansas; two children, Donal Robinson, Jr. of Nashville, Arkansas and Patti (Derek) Scott of McNab, Arkansas; six grandchildren, J’Shon Scott, Jamecia Robinson, Jasmine Witherspoon, Destiny Scott, Dontrelle Robinson and Amaya Haney; one great-grandchild, Kyla Greene; one daughter-in-love, Tamar Marlow; one grandchild-in-love, Zaniyah Dobbins; three sisters, Jackie (Randall) Green of Texarkana, Arkansas, Lorraine Brown of McNab, Arkansas, Judy Brown of Fulton, Arkansas, Monica Brown of Texarkana, Arkansas; one brother, Herman (Lela) Brown of McNab, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be 11am Saturday, August 5 at Hicks Memorial Chapel for funerals. Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Incimage
