Cattle Receipts: 1421         Last week: 757           Last year: 1164

 

Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady except 300-350 lbs were 5.00

lower. Feeder heifers 2.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher.

Slaughter bulls 2.00-3.00 higher.

Supply included 778 feeder calves; 424 yearlings; 40 replacement cows; 146

slaughter cows; 33 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 40 percent

English and English crosses; 37 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 23 percent

Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 61 percent steers and

bulls; 39 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted average price in
