Spring Hill Open House

SPRING HILL- With summer coming to an end and the school year starting back up, open house for the students of Spring Hill School was held tonight August 10. While waiting on the doors to open, classroom rosters for each grade were posted outside the entryway. Teachers were excited to meet their students along with meeting the parents. While the parents and teachers talked the students got to see where their desk were located and got to see friends from the previous year as well as meet new friends who are attending Spring Hill For the first time. The motto being lead this year is “Good Character is our Superpower” the theme could be seen throughout the building with balloons, signs, and bulletin boards in the halls. A big hit at the open house was the revealing of the new cafeteria. The construction of the cafeteria was completed a couple of weeks prior to open house. To demonstrate the use of the cafeteria hotdogs and drinks were provided for those attending open house. For the high schoolers open house the students received their schedules and student handbooks. The seventh graders along with those you will be attending the high school for the first time meet with high school principal; Dr. Maggio. Those who are returning students got to talk with their teachers and learn what they should expect for the school year.
