Hope Animal Shelter

HOPE- The Hope Animal Shelter has a variety of dogs up for adoption. Some were born inside the shelter and do not know what it is like to have an owner. You can pick a puppy and give it a life full of love or you can chose an older dog and give it a second chance and a fresh feeling of love. The shelter is current housing dogs that have been rescued from their previous owners who did not show them the love that they needed. They are also housing dogs that have been dropped off at the pounds door while workers were away and left without a reason.

With cages getting full there is nowhere else to send the dogs to keep them in safety, where they were previously sending the dogs was sold before any new plans could be made causing the workers fear of what could happen to the animals they are currently housing. While visiting the shelter we were told that one of the dogs has received its second chance and that the owners had already adopted her and were coming back to pick her up.

Dogs are steadily coming in the Hope Animal Shelter and foster homes are needed now more then ever. If you would like to foster a dog please contact the pound at 870-722-2545. Adoption are always available, you can go through and pick a pet to carry home with you. The Hope Animal Shelter is open from 9am until 8pm Monday through Saturday.
