Mr. Richard Greenhaw

Mr. Richard C. Greenhaw, age 74 of Chidester, AR, formerly of Spring Hill, Arkansas passed away, Wednesday, August 16, 2017 in Eldorado, Arkansas. Mr. Greenhaw was born Memphis, Tennessee on September 27, 1943 to Herbert Charles and Virgie Mae Sutton Greenhaw. Mr. Greenhaw was of the Christian faith, a retired facility manager in tele-communications, a retired U.S. Air Force Captain, serving during the Vietnam War. He flew over 100 combat missions as a F-4 pilot, a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Small Arms Expert Marksman Ribbon. He loved keeping up on worldly politics and spending time with family. Mr. Greenhaw is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Herbert Charles Greenhaw.

Survivors include; his wife, of 35 years, Debra Greenhaw of Chidester, his mother; Mrs. Virgie Greenhaw of Spring Hill, AR, two sons; Richard Charles Greenhaw, his wife, Amber of Sherman, TX, and Jimmy W. Tinkes of Howe, TX, three daughters; Charlotte Choranetz, husband, John of Keller, TX, Sara Crabbe, husband, Chris of Sacramento, CA and Miranda Tinkes of Sherman, TX, sister; Linda Duke, husband, Johnny of Jacksonville, AR, seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Visitation is one hour before the funeral at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, starting at 1:00pm.

Funeral service with military honors will be Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope. Bro. Revel Kidd will officiate.
