 W. J. Stone, 80, of Blevins, AR passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family, Monday, September 25, 2017.

 

“Rollin Stone” was born August 6, 1937, in Blevins, AR to Vernest and Florine Fulton Stone.

Rollin Stone was a retired truck driver and farmer.

He called every child that came his way, his own.

W. J. was preceded in death by his parents and a dear friend Tommy Matchett.

W. J. is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Martha Page Stone; two sons: Yancey (Sheila) Stone, and Tracy (Susan) Stone; two daughters: Kim Daugherty and Cheryl Heikkinen; two brothers: Randy Stone (Darlene), and Ricky Stone (Freda); two sisters: Patsy Stegall (Victor) and Bonnie Honeycutt (Bob); seven grandchildren: Brandy and Geoff, Shannon and Gus, Chris and Carla, Shane and Kali, Shealynn and Arnoldo, Brooke, and Paige and Dillon; thirteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and fellow gear jammers.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Herndon Pharr Funeral Home in Hope.  Funeral services will be 5:00 pm, Friday, September 29, 2017 at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Blevins, AR, with Bro. Donnie Dillard, Bro. Dan Patton, and Bro. Bill Christian officiating, with interment to follow in Sweet Home Cemetery, Blevins, AR, under the direction of Herndon Pharr Funeral Home of Hope.
