Cattle Receipts: 1781         Last week: 1650           Last year: 1335

 

Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 550 lbs steady, over 550 lbs 1.00-

3.00 lower. Feeder heifers steady. Slaughter cows 2.00 lower.

Slaughter bulls steady. Supply included 883 feeder calves; 555 yearlings; 55

replacement cows; 268 slaughter cows; 20 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply

consisted of 42 percent English and English crosses; 38 percent Exotic and

Exotic crosses; 20 percent Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included

57 percent steers and bulls; 43 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted

average price in parenthesis.
