Joy White

Joy White, 90, of Gurdon, Arkansas passed away October 9th, 2017

at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia.

Joy was born May 13th, 1927 to Robert and Grace (King) Trout in Gurdon, Arkansas.  She worked in Banking and Bank Management.

Joy attended Henderson State Teachers College, was a lifelong member of Beech Street Baptist Church, She loved her Grandchildren and Great Grand Children, spending time on the lake and fishing.

Joy was preceded in death by her parents; husband William Lawrence White, SR,

two brothers: Art Trout and Jim Bob Trout.

Joy is survived by her son Larry White and wife Annette of Gurdon, Arkansas, two grandchildren; Kelly (Jeanie) White of Gurdon, Arkansas and Tracy White (Rodney) Grice of Bryant, Arkansas, five great grandchildren: Tucker, Calley, Garret, Sawyer and Grace.

Visitation will be: Thursday October 12th, 2017 from 1:00 – 2:30 prior to

Service: at 2:30 at Beech Street Baptist Church, Gurdon, Arkansas with

Bro. David Graves officiating.

Interment: will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery
