Women’s conference Nov. 11-12

PRESCOTT – The Munns Chapel Baptist Church at Prescott will have its annual women’s conference weekend on November 11-12.

This year’s theme is “SISTERS’ LIVES MATTER—There’s Joy in the Journey”. Based on Isaiah 40: 28-31, the conference is to restore, revive, renew, and encourage women from all of the issues of everyday life.

Activities will begin on Saturday at 8 a.m. with registration, continental breakfast, and shopping with the vendors. A 30-minute session of ground breaking prayer service will begin at 9 a.m. The conference service will begin at 9:30 a.m. Eight dynamic women will bring messages. The number eight signifies a new beginning. The messengers are Satarra Dixon, Lola Hatley, Tammy Sims, Karen Harper, Evangelist Rose Dixon, LaTishua Jones, Laquilla Jones, and Pastor Wanda Bullock.

Four psalmists have been programmed to minister in music. They are Margie Dansby, Whitney Stafford, Vinita Giles, and Katherine Griffin. The guest worship leader is Missionary Ruthie Malone. Conference colors are blue and/or green (optional). A fellowship lunch and more shopping with the vendors will conclude Saturday’s activities. Registration is $10.

Women’s Day, the conference finale, will be held on Sunday, November 12. The first service will be at 11 a.m. The messenger will be Shayla White of New Beginnings Church at Texarkana, TX, wife of Pastor Cedell White. The next service will be at 3 p.m. The messenger will be Stephanie Radford of Kingdom Authority Christian Ministries at Gurdon, wife of Pastor Quintin Radford. Kingdom Authority’s choir will provide the music for the service.
