Tragic loss for the Bobcats

Tonight the Hope Bobcats lost a conference game against the Magnolia Panthers

The game started off with Hope kicking off to Magnolia. The panthers were unable to score on their first possession so they punted to the Bobcats. Hope also failed to score so the punted it back to Magnolia. Roach started off the scoring for the panthers with a 7 yard rushing touchdown and Rogers got the extra point, (0-7).   Hope turned their possession over due to downs and Magnolia started off on their 47 yard line. Campbell from the panthers got an 8 yard rushing touchdown and extra point by Rogers was good, (0-14). The first quarter ended with the Panthers up 14 and Bobcats trailing behind with 0.

The second quarter started off with a 48 yard rushing touchdown and extra point by the Panthers, (0-21). Hope was unable to answer back to Magnolia for the first half. The first half ended with Magnolia up 42 and Hope with 0. Mercy Rule had went into affect.

The third quarter started off with Hope in possession of the ball, but was unable to make into the end-zone. The Panthers answered with an 80 yard rushing touchdown and the extra point by rogers was good, (0-49).

The fourth quarter started off with a 5 yard rushing touchdown by Magnolia, advancing their lead (0-55). Hope finally got onto the scoreboard with a 5 yard touchdown and the extra point was good, (7-55). The game ended with Magnolia victorious over Hope 7-55.
