Weather slows community garage sale

PRESCOTT – Damp weather kept some people from participating in the Community Garage and Trade Sale Sale Saturday.

The day dawned with light showers with the humidity remaining heavy all morning. This kept a lot of people at home and away from the sales. However several hardy souls set up shop along Hwy. 67, with one vendor at Sterling Square and another using the Bank of Delight parking lot. The Nevada County Library also got into the act, holding a book sale in front of the library.

There was pretty much something for almost everyone, or at least for those who ventured outside and visited the different booths.
