Cattle Receipts: 1605         Last week: 2310           Last year: 1490

 

Compared to last week: Feeder steers 1.00-4.00 higher. Feeder heifers 3.00-

7.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady. Slaughter bulls steady.

Supply included 955 feeder calves; 430 yearlings; 38 replacement cows; 169

slaughter cows; 13 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 40 percent

English and English crosses; 38 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 22 percent

Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 53 percent steers and

bulls; 47 percent heifers.
