Cattle Receipts: 2143 Last week: 1655 Last year: 1855
Compared to last week: Feeder steers 4.00-6.00 lower. Feeder heifers 4.00-
6.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 lower. Slaughter bulls steady to
2.00 lower.
Supply included 935 preconditioned cattle which were weaned a minimum of 45
days and given two rounds of shots; 807 feeder calves; 1055 yearlings; 40
replacement cows; 222 slaughter cows; 19 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply
consisted of 42 percent English and English crosses; 35 percent Exotic and
Exotic crosses; 23 percent Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included
57 percent steers and bulls; 43 percent heifers.
