Hope Rotary Honors Local Officers
The Hope Rotary Club held their annual “Law Enforcement Officers of the Year” program Thursday December 7th. At the program, the Hope Police, Hempstead County Sheriff’s Department, and “Troop G” of the Arkansas State Police announce their Rotary Law Enforcement Officers of the Year. Sheriff James Singleton named Investigator Jeremy McBride as his officer of the year. McBride was taking a class in Marion and was unable to be there so Sheriff Singleton accepted the Rotary honors on his behalf. Officer Freddie Parks was named Hope Rotary Officer of the Year by Hope Police Chief J.R. Wilson. Trooper Ernesto Echevarria was named Arkansas State Police “Troop G” officer of the year. Standing with the honorees is Rotarian Steve Lance who made the presentations.
