HOPE – The Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office announced a new mobile App available for download in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store as of December 11.

The app is free for users to download on both Android and iOS mobile devices. To download, visit https://www.HempsteadCountySheriff.org/app or go to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and type “Hempstead County Sheriff” in the search bar.

The mobile app allows easy access to the most important features of the website: Contact Us, Submit a Crime Tip, Press Releases, Inmate Roster, Most Wanted fugitives, and Sex Offender Map.

The app user can select which push notifications they would like to subscribe to through the app. The new mobile app will serve as an additional information resource for the public and will assist with community policing efforts.

“The app is an additional way to provide transparency for the Sheriff’s Office and encourage the public to take an active role in community policing efforts. We would love for every county resident or visitor to download our app and sign up for our push notifications. We believe our app will be a huge benefit to the Sheriff’s Office and the residents of Hempstead County as well,” said Sheriff James Singleton.

Brooks Jeffrey Marketing, Inc., a national website, app, and marketing company headquartered in Mountain Home, developed the new mobile app for Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office. Brooks Jeffrey, founded in 1984, develops websites, apps, and integrated marketing solutions for law enforcement, government offices, organizations, and businesses throughout the United States.
