BROWN, ADAM PHOTOMr. Adam Hunter Brown, age 37 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at his home. Adam was an extraordinary son, brother, father, friend and co-worker.

Adam was born in Texarkana to Bill and Junanne Brown on February 6, 1980. He was an Eagle Scout by the time he was thirteen. Adam was an honor graduate of Hope High School and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a degree in forestry. He worked for Potlatch in Prescott and Huber Engineered Woods in Broken Bow, Oklahoma as a procurement forester. At the time of his illness in 2010, he was employed by Georgia Pacific in Gurdon.

Adam will always be remembered by his children as the most polite and kindest man they had ever know. He was known by everyone for his big smile, his gentle ways, and his love for talking. He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and working on cars. But Adam’s biggest love was for his kids and family. But…he also loved Doublemint gum, a good meal and playing a joke on people.

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Alvin(Papaw) and June(Granny) Reynolds and Holland and Robbie Brown. He is survived by his parents, Bill and Junanne Brown, his brother Reyn, his daughters Jade and Bailey, his son Kaedin, his nieces Reynlee Beau and Hallie and his half-brothers Trey and Chris.

Bill and Junanne would like to thank the people of Hope for embracing Adam after his illness and loving him. Special thanks also to UAMS, Dr. George Garrett and the lab at Wadley Hospital in Hope.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope.
