Beryl Henry Elementary School students competed in grade-level spelling contests Friday to name representatives to the Hempstead County Spelling Bee this spring. Fifth grade winner were Heavenlee West, first; Serenity Robinson, second; and Kaylee Robinson, third (alternate). Sixth grade winners were Eddrick Lard, first; Bry’darius Grissom, second; and Jennifer Gomez, third (alternate). – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools
