Holiday closing and trash schedule

HOPE/PRESCOTT – The City of Hope Public Works office will be closed Monday, Dec. 25, in observance of Christmas and Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.

The residential trash pickup in Hope will see Monday’s trash collected on Tuesday and Tuesday’s on Wednesday. Commercial trash will not run Christmas day. The landfill will also be closed on Dec. 25, and there will be ho rubbish picked up on the holiday weeks.

In Prescott, City Hall will be closed Monday and Tuesday for Christmas. The city’s trash schedule will see the east side of town’s garbage picked up on Wednesday, and the west side’s on Thursday.

The Nevada County Courthouse will close at 2 p.m. Friday, reopening Wednesday, Dec. 27. Monday and Tuesday’s trash will be picked up Wednesday, while Wednesday’s trash will be collected on Thursday and Thursday’s on Friday.
