Fire destroys home
PRESCOTT – Christmas was anything but merry for one family as fire destroyed a home outside of town.
The call came in around 10:35 a.m. Monday, with the Nevada County Rescue Unit called out. The NCRU was assisted by the Prescott Fire Department and Fair Hills Volunteer Fire Department, but there was little the firefighters could do as the structure was completely engulfed in flames by the time the first crew arrived. Deputies with the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office were on hand working traffic.
The fire was two miles outside of Prescott on Hwy. 67 North.
Who was the family that lived here and how can I help
Prescott Fire Department was not there, Emmet, Fair Hills, Langburg and the Nevada Co Rescue Unit responded to the fire.
I heard that there was another house fire in Prescott that day but can’t find out anything about it?
