The Hope Kiwanis Club heard a program on the new garden at the Hope Academy of Public Service on the Garland campus. Two Master Gardeners gave information on the design and what the students will plant. The new space is called “Denny’s Place” in honor of long time Hope alum and school board member Denny Dickinson who passed away last year. Following the presentation Kiwanis President Nathaniel Holyfield presented a check from the club towards the expenses for the garden.
