32F1674D-0AD4-40E6-BE21-116121F0A802Mr. Franklin W. King, age 78 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 in Heather Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hope, Arkansas. Mr. King was born in Cooter, Missouri on January 3, 1940 to Monroe and Rosie Lee Mullins King. Mr. King was employed with Meyers Bakery in Hope for over 35 years, retiring as one of the bakery’s truck driver. He was of the Baptist Faith and has served in the United States Navy. Mr. King is preceded in death by his parents Monroe and Rosie Lee King and a sister, Sarah Kirk.

Those mourning his passing, his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Maxine Rose Burns King of Hope, his three sons Danny Franklin King, John William King and Don Edward King all of Hope, his daughter Sherry Lawson of Texarkana, Arkansas and one sister Linda Daniels of Kenneth, Missouri, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild, other family member and friends.

Visitation for Mr. King will be Monday, January 15, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm.

Graveside service will be conducted by BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 2:00pm in Mitchell Cemetery in Cooter, Missouri. Arrangements are by BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director. Online registry: www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com
