HOPE – Hope Police Department is reminding citizens that if they observe suspicious behavior, call 911 immediately.

Chief of Police JR Wilson said, “If you See Something, Say Something. Call early, call often. These are important messages for public safety. Police have the power and authority to address many potential situations before they evolve into a greater problem, but we can only address them if we know about them. We need the public’s help to keep our community as safe as possible. It is not an imposition to call 911. We would much rather receive your call and investigate the suspicious behavior than not receive the call and criminal behavior goes unabated. Public safety is truly a partnership between the public and the Police. So if you see something that gives you concern, please call 911 and report the suspicious activity. Our Officers will appropriately and lawfully address the concern. If HPD can be of assistance to you, please let us know.”
