Cattle Receipts: 1279 Last week: 286 Last year: 1403
Compared to last week: Feeder steers 5.00-10.00 higher. Feeder heifers 4.00-
10.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady. Slaughter bulls 2.00-3.00 higher.
Supply included 720 feeder calves; 387 yearlings of these there were 340
preconditioned cattle that had been weaned at least 45 days and had two rounds
of shots, 35 replacement cows, 119 slaughter cows; 18 slaughter bulls. Feeder
supply consisted of 45 percent English and English crosses; 35 percent Exotic
and Exotic crosses; 20 percent Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply
included 55 percent steers and bulls; 45 percent heifers.
