Lions Hear Bicentennial Program

The Hope Lions Club heard a program on the Hempstead County Bicentennial on Monday January 29th. Warren Hanson Richard Read, and Mark Ross explained that Hempstead County will be 200 years old in December and about the efforts to celebrate and commemorate that milestone. They explained that events will be held in the townships culminating in an event in Hope in December. Hanson showed the Bicentennial items being sold to help finance the celebration and noted the items are on sale at LaGrone Williams Hardware.
