Extension coffee well attended
PRESCOTT – It was no surprise to see the Nevada County Extension Office packed Thursday morning, as this was its annual community coffee.
Traditionally this is one of the most well-attended coffees as members of the Extension Homemaker Clubs tend to make and provide the refreshments, and there were plenty on hand Thursday morning. Literally something for almost everyone.
Nevada County Agent Darren Neal welcomed everyone and said the coffee wouldn’t be possible without the help of the club members who volunteer their time and talent to make it happen. He also introduced Shebi Booker, who’s working with 4-H clubs and area schools.
