PPD makes more drug arrests
PRESCOTT – The Prescott Police Department continues its enforcement against the illegal possession and distribution of controlled substances. The month of January ended with 10 narcotic related arrests and the seizure of approximately 83 grams of controlled substances.
Enforcement has resulted in three (3) arrests since the last press release and the seizure of approximately 35 grams of controlled substances.
On January 31, PTL Morris, assisted by DET Ferguson, conducted a traffic stop on W. 1st St. N. and W. Laurel St. The driver, identified as Jammal Morrison, had an active warrant out of the City of Prescott and was found to be in possession of marijuana.
On February 2, DET Ferguson conducted a traffic stop on W. Olive St. A female passenger, identified as Dianja’lec Sorrells, was found to be in possession of marijuana.
On February 3, Lt. Gamble conducted a traffic stop on Scott St. The driver, identified as Kyron Johnson, was found to be in possession of marijuana.
