Jonquil Festival around the corner

WASHINGTON – This year marks the 50th anniversary for the Jonquil Festival at Washington.

This year’s festival will be March 16-18 and feature some new additions. First, there will be a parade on Friday, followed by a fish fry Friday evening. A dutch oven demonstration will be given each day, and the Second Annual Jonquil Star singing contest will be held.
