Cattle Receipts: 387   Last week: 338     Last year: 933

 

Compared to last week: Feeder steers 5.00-15.00 higher. Feeder heifers under

600 lbs 5.00-10.00 higher, over 600 lbs steady to 3.00 higher. Slaughter cows

steady. Slaughter bulls 2.00-3.00 higher.

Supply included 215 feeder calves, 75 yearlings, 20 replacement cows, 71

slaughter cows; 6 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 43 percent English

and English crosses; 35 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 22 percent Brahman

and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 58 percent steers and bulls; 42

percent heifers.
