Jordan McKinnon Jones, granddaughter of the late Denver L. “Denny” Dickinson, presents Hope Academy of Public Service Principal Dr. Carol Ann Duke with a check in behalf of Hempstead County Farm Credit Services. The donation for the “Denny’s Place” outdoor classroom and garden at HAPS recognizes a partnership that celebrates Dickinson’s more than 50 years of Farm Credit Services membership and his service to the Hope Public Schools Board. Joining the presentation are Farm Credit Services representatives Clay Lance and Jerry Nance, left; Jan Dickinson McKinnon and school board member Kathryn Dickinson, middle right; and Hempstead County Master Gardeners representative Nan Wright. – Hope Public Schools
