Never too warm for chili

PRESCOTT – Members of the Nevada County Fair Association held a chili fundraiser Friday to help raise money for fair expenses.

More than 100 orders were delivered around Prescott, with people coming to the Potlatch Building to either dine in or get carryout. There were several kinds of chili to choose from, ranging from beef to deer, hot to mild and with or without beans. The meal also included a cookie, drink, cornbread and/or crackers.

In all there were 14 pots of chili on hand for the event – all made by members of the NC Fair Association.
