Weighted Average Report for Thursday May 24, 2018
Cattle Receipts: 1086 Last week: 1121 Last year: 1008
Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 500 lbs. 3.00-10.00 lower; over 500
lbs. steady. Feeder heifers steady to 3.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady.
Slaughter bulls steady. Supply included 665 feeder calves, 210 yearlings, 45
replacement cows, 152 slaughter cows; 14 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply
consisted of 40 percent English and English crosses; 35 percent Exotic and
Exotic crosses; 25 percent Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included
53 percent steers and bulls; 47 percent heifers.
