HOPE- Eat Fresh and Buy Local! The Hope Farmers Market took place this morning July 3rd at 3rd and Elm. To get your fresh produce visit your local farmers market on Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons. You can also purchase farmers market T-shirts at the market, limited sizes available.

Local farmers at today’s farmers market consisted of;

Spring Hill Bees – Jenn Quinn – local raw honey

Solomon’s Farm – Melanie Solomon – cherry tomatoes, patty pan squash, cucumbers, cantaloupe and fresh basil bunches. Also, a wonderful selection of bath and body products.

Salinas Farms – Tricia Salinas – tomatoes, yellow squash, cucumbers, watermelons and cantaloupes.

Terre Noire Farms – Erica Hughes – pastured pork, Italian sausage, brats, chorizo, pork chops, breakfast sausage

Log Cabin Soapery – Lee and Sue Nesom – a unique variety of handmade soaps. This week: three different designs of USA flag soap scented with Apple Pie. Also, plenty of Watermelon soap to get ready for the Annual Watermelon Festival!

Heirloom Farms – Jason Bolls – squash, kale, zucchini, collards, and fresh-cut herbs.

Silvey Farms – the Silvey Family – green beans, squash, hot peppers, cucumbers, jellies, cinnamon rolls and other baked goods.

Lulus Delights- Banana Cookies, zucchini bread, lemon loaf bread.

Tara Fleming- melons, squash, peppers, and cucumbers.

Kylerene Green Gamble- plum jelly, blueberry muffins, chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon donut holes, and cake slices.
