PRESCOTT – On July 23 and 24, Investigator Robert Missey and Deputy Bo Morris along with Dispatcher Dana Marlar attended an ALERRT class put on by the Texarkana Police Department. This class brings together law enforcement agencies, fire department agencies and medical transport agencies to better work together in a crisis of mass casualties in an Active Shooter Event.

K-9 Deputy Jeremy Hendrix, Deputy Justin Hughes and Dispatcher Mavi Wayne are set to attend this class on August 6-7. The Nevada County Sheriff’s Department thanks the sponsors of this class. This is just another way the NCSO is set to further it service to our community and continue our working relationship with other responding agencies.
