Weighted Average Report for Thursday Aug 16, 2018

 

Cattle Receipts: 1083    Last week: 1106     Last year: 1222

 

Compared to last week: Feeder steers 2.00-5.00 higher.  Feeder heifers

unevenly steady.  Slaughter cows 2.00-5.00 higher.  Slaughter bulls 3.00-5.00

higher.

Supply included 705 feeder calves, 267 yearlings, 20 replacement cows, 73

slaughter cows; 18 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 43 percent

English and English crosses; 35 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 22 percent

Brahman and Brahman crosses.  Feeder supply included 58 percent steers and

bulls; 42 percent heifers. Near 13 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
