Quillin new dean of Enrollment Management
HOPE – The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana (UAHT) has named Leigh Quillin as the new Dean of Enrollment Management.
Quillin brings more than 20 years of experience to her newest role at the college. Her career at UAHT began as the switchboard operator. Since then she has worked in the offices of financial aid, student recruitment, and testing. “I am excited about this new role where I will have the pleasure of overseeing an outstanding staff in financial aid, career services, student relations, recruiting, career coaches, and testing,” said Quillin.
Quillin was born and raised in Hope, where she also owns Quillin Farms with her husband, Randy, and son, Cayden. She obtained a Bachelor of General Studies degree from East Texas State University and received a Master’s in Community Counseling from Henderson State University. She is also an active member of the Hope Civitan Club and attends the First United Methodist Church of Hope.
“I have had the opportunity to work with many great people in my years at the college,” said Quillin. “The thing I love most, however, is working with students. I have said it before, and I’ll say it again, nothing feels better than seeing a former student working as a nurse, teacher, or welder, and knowing the UAHT family has helped make a difference in that student’s life.”
