Grand reopening for Casa Carlos

PRESCOTT – Ribbon cutting ceremonies were held for the grand reopening of Casa Carlos Tuesday morning.

The business never closed, but the reopening ceremony was held to celebrate the business being where it is for five years as well as remodeling done inside the restaurant.

Several patrons gathered around a wall to look at pictures of the Curley Wolves over the years. Prescott Mayor Terry Oliver thanked Zacarias for investing in Prescott, saying he and the business are a big asset for the community.

The restaurant opened around 10 years ago at the intersection of Highways 371 and 19 as Los Agaves. The business moved to the former location of the Fish Nest, with Carlos renaming it after splitting from his brothers five years ago. The restaurant is open late Friday nights, offering specials after home football games. It also offers catering as well as sit-down dining and carryout.

“We like to support the community,” Zacarias said, “and give young people the chance to learn how to work.”
