Lions auction coming up

PRESCOTT – It’s almost time for the annual Lions Club Auction.

Each year, the club hosts an auction to raise money for its activities and projects, including holiday gift baskets and glasses for those who can’t afford them.

This year’s auction is scheduled for Nov. 15-16, unless the Curley Wolves are still in the  playoffs. Should this be the case, the auction will be held Nov. 15 and 17 in the Potlatch Building at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. The auction includes pretty much something for everyone, including hams and turkeys for the holidays.
