A parade is planned for 1pm and the committee is asking for all communities of Hempstead County and organizations to enter floats or vehicles into the event. The parade will begin at the current courthouse on Washington Street. It will proceed down 5th Street to Elm Street and go to Division and then to Walnut Street ending at the Farmers Bank building.
