Vester Gulley
Gulley, Vester age 78, of Chidester, AR departed this earthly life on Monday, December 3, 2018. She was the eldest daughter born to the late Bernice and Stella Martin Warren on Sunday, November 10, 1940. Sister Gulley professed Christ at an early age. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church (Rosston, AR) where she was an active choir member until her health failed. She received her formal education from Sweet Home Public School in Willisville, Arkansas. In 1958, she united in Holy Matrimony with the late Artis Gulley, Sr. To this union five children were born.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Jacqueline (David) Wingfield of Rosston, AR; Latasha Henry of Hope, AR; sons, Artis Gulley, Jr. of Chidester, AR and Shon (Lakeyta) Gulley of Rosston, AR; sisters, Levester Blakely and Margie (Albert) Waller of Rosston, AR; grandchildren, Alvin, Kolonda, Shontay, David, Jr, Jeremy, Marquise, Aneshia, Jermaine, Merrill, Jerrell, Brian, Shontarious, Keyshon, Deshon; nineteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Public visitation will be 12 pm – 3 pm | Friday, December 14, 2018 @ McFadden & Hitchye Funeral Enterprises | 411 South Walnut St., Hope, AR.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 10:00 am | Oak Grove Baptist Church, 1530 AR-200, Rosston, AR. | Rev. Ralph Porchia – Eulogist, Pastor L.C. Gilliam – Officiant | Interment: Oak Grove/Bethel Cemetery, Rosston, AR.
