Martha Butler

Sis. Martha Butler was born December 24, 1951 in Nevada County, Arkansas to the late Galvester Butler and Coy Williams. Martha was a very happy and outgoing person. She attended school at the McRae High School. After she finished school, she left for job Corp in Oklahoma where she received her CNA license. She returned back home in Prescott, AR and she worked as a school custodian for 32 years until she retired. She joined Munn’s Chapel Baptist Church. Martha was very active in church. Martha resided at Hillcrest Care and Rehab, where she was loved and cared for very much and she will be missed greatly.

Martha departed this life on December 6, 2018 at Wadley Hospital in Hope, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents Galvester Butler and Coy Williams, two sisters, Carolyn Roston and Moxine Taylor, and a special friend James Cole.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, James Cole Jr. of Prescott, AR, Three brothers, Robert Williamson (Janis) of San Francisco, CA, Leon Williams of Rockford, IL, Ralph Butler (Lisa) of Stockton, CA, seven sisters, Georgie Blalock of Prescott, AR, Mary Moten (Steve) of Killeen, TX, Wanda perkin (Lonnie) of Versini, CA, Marcia Younas (  ) of Pittsburg, CA, Bobbie Royston (Tony) of Pittsburg, CA, Loretta Anderson of Miami, FL, Dora Gude (Willie) of Prescott, AR, one special friend/brother Thomas Marlon, two special friends/sisters, Katherine Hugle and Inez Moreland, and a host of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Family wake will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, December 14, 2018 at BRAZZEL/Cornish 1196 HWY 371 West Prescott, Arkansas 71857.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Munn’s Chapel in Prescott, Arkansas. Burial to follow at Washington Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are with BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director. Online registry: www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com
