Lance new director of Hempstead Hall

HOPE – Amanda Lance has been named the new director of Hempstead Hall and Workforce Development at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana.

Lance brings over a decade of hospitality experience to the role and previously served as the Advertising and Publications Coordinator for the college. She is a 2003 graduate of Hope High School, a 2016 graduate of UAHT, and is currently completing her bachelor’s degree through the University of Arkansas Fayetteville.

“The impact of Hempstead Hall has been tremendously positive on Hope and all of Southwest Arkansas, and I am honored and humbled to continue the legacy started by Dolly Henley,” said Lance. “Our community’s culture is greatly enriched through the performing arts brought through Hempstead Hall, and I am thrilled to be a part of broadening that scope of opportunity. It will also be exciting to work with our industry and community partners to continue to offer the best training facility in our region.”
