Spring Hill Beta Club Hosts Chamber Coffee

HOPE- The Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce held a community coffee at the chamber office on January 30. This weeks coffee was hosted by the Spring Hill High School Beta Club. Several of the beta club members attended the coffee to represent their school.

Chamber President, Clay Lance introduced the group followed by Spring Hill Beta President Ramsey Brown giving the community a description of what all the Beta clubs does for the community, such as, food drive, donating clothes to Hempstead County, and buying Christmas for three students within the Spring Hill School.

All students who are initiated into Beta are to maintain a 3.25 grade point average. The National Honors Society is for seniors who are in good standing with the school who also hold a 3.25 grade point average.
