HPD makes four arrests

On January 25, 2019, investigators of the Hope Police Department arrested Grace V. Hull, 44, and David M. Hornaday, 35, both of Dardenale, AR with a warrant for theft of firearm and fraudulent use of a credit card. The original incident occurred on November 8th, 2018 in the 700 block of S. Hervey St. at 1200 hours. Both were held in the Hempstead County Detention Facility awaiting a first appearance.

On January 25, 2019 at approximately 9am, the Hope Police Department along with Agents with the 8th North Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant in the 700 block of South Pine in Hope, Arkansas.  Demonta D. Morgan, 24, of Hope was arrested and charged with possession with the purpose to deliver (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance near certain facilities, maintaining drug premise, and served with a failure to appear warrant.  Morgan was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On January 27, 2019 at approximately 645am, Jerry Ogden, 62, of Hope,   was arrested and charged with two counts of delivery of cocaine. Mr. Ogden was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

 

On January 31, 2019 at approximately 1045am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Victoria L. Smith, 25, of Magnolia for Possession of a Controlled Substance –methamphetamine.  The arrest was the result of a traffic stop for a traffic violation.  Smith was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a firt appearance.
