Hope Country Club Holding Membership Drive

The Hope County Club wants you! The organization, which dates back to the 1920’s, is making a concerted effort to recruit new members. According to board President Jim Meador, the club is offering special rates for first-time members, returning members, and even out-of-county members. First time members can join for a year for only $50 plus tax per month. Meador emphasizes the club is for everyone. In addition to the golf course, the club also has a well-stocked pond for fishing and further improvements are planned. The clubhouse is available for rent for special events and Meador says they’ve even hosted weddings there. The restaurant is also opening soon and will be open to the public. It will be known as “Danny’s Blue Note”. Anyone interested in learning more can call Meador at 777-8092 or feel free to come by the club on the Patmos Road.
