PPD doing drug take back

PRESCOTT – The Prescott Police Department would like to announce that we will be participating in the National Drug Take Back Event on April 29, 2019. The National Drug Take Back Event is designed to help prevent the abuse and/or misappropriation of prescription and/or over the counter medications. We would like to encourage anyone in the local area that has any prescription or over the counter medications that are no longer of use to you, to surrender those medications to the Prescott Police Department. We would like to have the medications surrendered by close of business (4:00 P.M.) on April 25, 2019, to ensure that all necessary forms have time to be completed for the Take Back. The Prescott Police Department would like to request that medications be surrendered in some form of closable bottle, bag or other storage device. The Prescott Police Department will then surrender the medications to representatives with the Drug Enforcement Administration on April 29, 2019. Don’t worry if you’re not able to surrender your medications prior to the above date, there will be another National Drug Take Back Event which will be announced at a later date.
