2019 Hope Train Day

HOPE- The City of Hope held its 4th annual Train Day Celebration on Saturday, May 4. The festivities took place in downtown. Vendors were set up in the parking lot behind Tailgaters and the 11 contestants in the Rib cook off had all of Main Street smelling amazing. First place went to Allen’s Smokey Pig, second place was Chick N Butts, and in third place Blazin Grill. Smoke N Heads received award for best decor. Members of the Plowboys Car club overseen the car show that took place. Those present at the event were given a card and got to vote for their favorite car. The baggo tournament was a crowd favorite again this year. Bringing contestants from out of town.
1st place- Mad Baggers, Magnolia AR
2nd place- Creek Boys, Magnolia AR
3rd place- Tailgaters, Hope AR.
There were activities for the kids, such as train rides through town and face painting done by the Hope Junior Auxiliary.
