Witcher honored by UAHT

HOPE – Each year the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana honors an outstanding faculty member. UAHT is proud to announce that this year’s winner is Ginny Witcher. Witcher has served as a nursing instructor at the college for five years.

According to her nomination letter, Ginny is a great example of an Outstanding Faculty member. She gives of her time to help students who need extra tutoring or help with nursing content. She is a team player who is always willing to do whatever is asked of her to get the job done in the nursing department. She is exceptionally knowledgeable in the subject content she teaches, and she teaches in a relevant way that allows students to learn well. She is an advocate of the nursing program and UAHT and always speaks highly of both students and community members.
