Old Washington Farmers Market

The Old Washington Farmers’ Market will be open from 8am to Noon this Saturday, May 18. The market is located behind Washington City Hall across from Williams Tavern Restaurant in Washington, Arkansas. Come out and support your local farmers and get locally grown produce.
Vendors at the market include: Arnold Farm of DeAnn with new potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, onions, garlic, green beans and cucumbers; Silvey Farm of Bodcaw with May Queen and Little gem lettuce, radishes, cut herbs, various types of jellies, amazing cinnamon rolls, zucchini bread, elderberry whistles, and potholders; Pam Garringer with farm fresh eggs; KB Honey and potted house plants; Peggy Carrigan of Ozan with assortment of sweet breads and pies; Aunt Fern from Ozan with her famous fried pies; Joseph Barry of Washington with painted flower pots; and Come out early to get first picks of produce for it will go fast. Be sure to also sign up for the give away basket. You don’t have to be present to win. Also there will be other vendors there that haven’t called in so there will be more at market than listed above.
