Leadership HHS session held

PRESCOTT – Leadership Nevada County held its Health & Human Services session on June 13^th. The morning started off at the Nevada County Health Office. The first thing on the agenda was a panel discussion with Dr. Charles Vermont, Dr. Michael Young and Dr. Alan Fox. Debbie Henderson then gave an overview of the Nevada County Health Unit.

We also visited Nevada County Ambulance Service, the Nevada County Day Service Center, Hillcrest Care and Rehab. The class then had lunch at Casa Carlos. After lunch we visited the Department of Human Services where we heard from the director Felicia Furlow as well as representatives from Wadley Regional Medical Center and also Baptist Family Clinic. The day ended with an overview the Split Rail Residential Care Facility.
